Decision Making!!!

Lately, technology has evolved or developed in a very fast way within a very short period of time. technology became a necessity in our lives in order to interact with others easily, since msn, hotmail facebook and many other site shorten time and space; communicate with the world widely, since we are able to be connected with other countries and get to know new people and culture; facilitate our work and improve our education by sending contract sheets apply cv’s and formal paper through the internet with specific systems moreover students are able to have access on huge amount of detailed information which supports them or helps them in their researches, furthermore students don’t have to attend classes anymore since they can get the course online and upload homework, projects and exams online.
Technology has a great impact on youth especially and they adapt to it easily were they cannot ignore it anymore. Internet dominated over all other media and occupied most of their times daily. Since most of the newspapers, magazines, books, TV shows and TV news are uploaded online as you tube, e-books, online newspapers and magazines. Youth are more likely to have access on it especially after the development of the advanced technology of being able to have access on the internet through mobile phones. web 2.0 allowed the sharing ideas and thoughts between the youth through open sources and blogs, where those youth became the citizen journalists due to their ability to upload photos-video/audio and articles about a certain subject, to make and have comments, to express their opinion and share ideas.
All types of media affect people in general and youth specifically positively and/or negatively. By nature youth run after technology development and they trust the media, which may affect their decisions and behaviors in several domains.
In the coming parliament election 2009 most of the candidates planned their strategies in a seductive way towards youth those that do not belong to a specific political party by using fresh, simple and smart ideas in their advertisements (TV ads-billboard ads-site ads) since they are easily driven towards persons who promise them to develop the country and deliver better services, better employment, safety and allow the voice of youth to reach the parliament. The candidates are giving them this importance since they are the future generation that will be held the responsibility of the country. The decision of the neutral youth is easily affected since they will choose the freshest slogan and that best suits their aims; but those who are involved in a specific political party won’t be affected because they would be brainwashed.
Besides being a right, voting is a duty that must be performed in a democratic way without external pressures. Even though none of the candidates supports your view, express your opinion and voter a blank paper showing your desire to have a new people in the parliament.
